Abstract

This research was conducted at state elementary school 112227. This research was conducted 
by interviewing the English teacher at the elementary school. The research method used is 
qualitative. The results obtained by the researchers from the interviews conducted were that 
there were challenges in terms of conditioning elementary school children when technology
based learning took place, then there was a lack of motivation for children to learn English. From 
the discussion and discussions in this research, namely by providing motivation to children 
before learning takes place, then providing interesting technology-based learning media so that 
children are interested in paying attention when the teacher gives explanations, as well as 
implementing learning which is a child-centered approach, so that With this approach, it invites 
students' enthusiasm and encourages them to always be active because they are given the 
confidence to provide their understanding of a lesson.
